The Alex B Foundation was founded in loving memory of Brandon A. Chavis, whose life was tragically cut short by gun violence. Inspired by his legacy, we are committed to helping homeless individuals and families find shelter and build a path toward a brighter, independent future.
At The Alex B Foundation, we believe housing is the first step toward stability. While we currently provide essential resources such as food, clothing, personal hygiene items, and gift certificates, our mission is to secure funding to establish a safe shelter and transitional housing program. By combining immediate support with future initiatives like career development and life skills training, we aim to empower individuals, break the cycle of homelessness, and foster long-term independence.
We honor Brandon’s memory by creating a community where hope, dignity, and opportunity thrive.
